About The Event
is hosting a four session book study of San Antonio Leaders & Teachers by Parker J. Palmer. The Courage to Teach: Exploring the Inner Landscape of a Teacher’s Life
As we read this book,we will renew heart, mind, and spirit through the exploration of the inner landscape of a teacher’s life. Amid schooling through a pandemic we will reconnect to one’s identity and integrity—identifying and honoring gifts and strengths, and acknowledging limits. We will create a context for careful listening and deep connection that also honors diversity in person and profession as we explore the connection between attending to the inner life of educators and the renewal of public education.
