Reads & Reds- Fall 2022

San Antonio Leaders & Teachers is hosting a three-session book study of Atlas of the Heart By Brené Brown. 

"If we want to find the way back to ourselves and one another, we need language and the grounded confidence to both tell our stories and to be stewards of the stories that we hear. In Atlas of the Heart, we explore eighty-seven of the emotions and experiences that define what it means to be human and walk through a new framework for cultivating meaningful connection. This is for the mapmakers and travelers in all of us." -Brené Brown 

Reads & Reds will be facilitated by Lizzy Pérez (Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator) and hosted by  San Antonio's first professional network for educators, San Antonio Leaders & Teachers. 

Reads & Reds will meet in-person at 1002 N Flores on Thursdays- September 21st, October 19th (Doors open at 5:30pm; 6-7pm) and will have a culminating event at the SALT Collective Wellness Conference on Saturday, November 12th (SALT Collective details to follow).  

You will receive your copy Atlas of the Heart at our first meeting on September 21st and you will also get added to the SALT Reads & Reds community via GroupMe. 

We ask that you commit to all three sessions if you would like to participate. Space is limited so please RSVP to reserve your spot. Reads & Reds is FREE to SALT members and $45 for non-members (includes book and dinner/drinks at each session).
